To explore and analyze meanings regarding social conflict and cohesion from the perspective of the use and subjective experience of everyday time. The research consists of the following approaches: (a) organizing information from various studies in Chile that include the variable of everyday time to identify the main conflicts and inequalities associated with it; (b) describing and analyzing the main conflicts linked to the distribution and use of everyday time depending of the variables of gender, age and socio-economic level; (c) depicting and reviewing the main strategies for confronting said conflicts depending of the variables of gender, age and socio-economic level; (d) contributing to the development of theoretical definitions on conflict and cohesion from the variable of use of time; and (e) positioning the issue of the use of time on the public agenda.
