The purpose of this research is to lessen the analytical gap in previous studies, describing the unequal distribution of daily time presented by Santiago residents based on the variables of socio-economic group, age and gender. It uses a theoretical and methodological framework that integrates the objective and subjective dimensions of time in the life experience of the subjects, frames the results on the basis of neighborhood/community differences and completes individual perceptions of injustice with the data provided by modules II and III of the COES survey. This will be conducted using the concept of the ‘tyranny of time.’
